1855Lucy Larcom founds the Rushlight as a student literary magazine.
1912Wheaton is chartered as a four-year college; the magazine grows with it.
1988Wheaton goes coeducational — submissions open to the whole student body.
2005The Rushlight marks 150 years of publication.
